For the clients that have to reach the Hotel
Ripagrande, situated in the city center to the limit
of the pedestrian zone, coming from the Highway
A1 Milano-Firenze and from the A4 Bari-Bologna, it
is necessary to remain in highway and to follow the
indications for Padua A13.
Coming from the Fair District of Bologna, take the
A13 to the tollgate Arcoveggio in direction
Padua. After the 1° tollgate: Centergross and the 2°
tollgate: Altedo, exit to the 3° tollgate: South
Ferrara: continue straight on via Bologna for
4/5 kilometers in direction center (to half road on
your left you will see the Fair District of Ferrara)
continuing toward the Center and following the
descriptive arrows of the Hotel up to Piazza
Travaglio, behind the ancient boundaries of the
city.
Crossed Piazza Travaglio, going toward the Castle
Estense, in the middle of the road there is the
signal of pedestrian zone, gone beyond which, on the
left, the first road is via Ripagrande, and it is a
unique sense.
After 100 meters on the left there is the Hotel
Ripagrande .
Coming from Padua is preferable to go out then to
Ferrara Nord, and continue for the City Centre.
Passed under the bridge of the railroad, follow the
descriptive arrows of the Hotel that conduct to
Piazza Travaglio along via Piangipane, unique sense
road. Here joints on Piazza Travaglio, the auto
traffic is channeled to the semaphore on two lanes,
that of right that forces to turn right, that of
left for taxis, which are allowed to turn left. Take
the passage of left in which, if not signaled, the
turn is allowed to the left for the cars of the
clients that access the hotels of the Historical
Center. Continue going to direction of the Castle
Estense; over the beginning of the pedestrian zone,
turn left to the first one that it is via
Ripagrande, and arrive to the Hotel Ripagrande.
The standstill of some autos (no more than 4) is
possible in the small garage of the hotel (cost
25,00 Euro a day), while at 50 meters or in the
neighboring roads, where are the blue strips on the
ground parking is allowed, exhibiting on the
dashboard a ticket that is released by the reception
of the Hotel during the arrival.
The ticket has a cost of 3,00 Euro and a validity of
24 hours from the moment of the release.

arriving from Brennero (Highway A22).
Arriving from Brennero through the Highway A22, in
proximity of Verona city we recommend to go out to
the motorway exit “Verona South” and on the bypass
road toward South to follow the indications of the
Speedway “Transpolesana Verona-Rovigo” (SS 434), the
beginning is only few kilometers from the tollgate,
and this allows to arrive after 80 kilometers, to
the tollgate of “Villamarzana-Rovigo Sud” that it
connects this speedway to the highway A13 “Bologna-Padova”.
From this point following the direction Bologna it
is possible to reach “Ferrara North” in about 10
minutes.
